We’ve designed our SaferPayments programme to give businesses like yours a helping hand through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification process.

When you call

Please make sure you have the following information at hand.

  • Merchant ID – You’ll find this on your Streamline invoice
  • Company name and postcode
  • Email address
  • Card Payment Terminal make and model – You’ll find this on the manufacturers guide or on the under side of the terminal.

In addition, we’ll need to ask you some questions about how you take card payments. This is typically if you take cards in a face to face environment, by mail or telephone order or online. We’ll also need to know if you used any third party providers, such as a payment gateway or payment service provider (PSP) for online payments. As such you may require a network vulnerability scan.

^If you use WorldPay’s Safer Payments programme once certified it also means that should we be fined by the card scheme as a result of a data breach experienced by you, we will waive our right to pass the first £35,000/€42,000 of fines on to you.
