McDonald’s has become the latest business to renew its relationship with WorldPay, the UK’s leading payments acquirer. The deal will see Streamline, responsible for WorldPay’s face to face payments, process all debit and credit card payment transactions across the 1,200 McDonald’s restaurants in the UK.
WorldPay secured the deal based on its ability to provide a service that is both robust and flexible. Streamline, with its ability to provide high speed authorisations and robustly deal with high volume processing, is able to fulfil the need for an efficient service and reliable support across all McDonald’s restaurants at all times.
McDonald’s is focussed on bringing in-store innovations, such as contactless payments, to its customers. They re-appointed market leader WorldPay based on its ability to provide cutting-edge payment processing services to support new developments in customer-facing technology.
