Unblended Charging - Net settlement

Monday 3rd January 2011

From the 24th January 2011, Improvements are being made to the Daily Currency Processing Summary (NBT 339) and Daily Currency Settlement Summary (NBT504) reporting formats. The NBT 339 is being enhanced and will now summarise the transactions we have processed for you by card product type.

Changes to your management information reporting suite

You would have recently received a letter advising of some important enhancements and changes to the card processing services we provide to you.

These enhancements form part of our commitment to provide you with a greater level of transparency on how we process and report your currency transactions. In addition to our commitment MasterCard and Visa have mandated that this level of granularity is detailed on our customer reporting suite.

Currency reports - EMIS

From the 24th January 2011, Improvements are being made to the Daily Currency Processing Summary (NBT 339) and Daily Currency Settlement Summary (NBT504) reporting formats. The NBT 339 is being enhanced and will now summarise the transactions we have processed for you by card product type. The NBT504 is also being enhanced to provide a breakdown of the fees you are charged, also by card product type.

In order to include this detailed information we have re-written this report so that it now has two main sections. The first section summarises the transactions we have acquired and processed, and any chargebacks or Sundry items being settled. The second section provides more detailed information for each card product type. This revised report will now be called the NBT505.

A 6 month window will be opened for you to make the necessary amendments to your system to enable you to accept and use the new NBT505 format. During this period the existing NBT504 report will continue to be made available.

Streamline Online

The enhancements detailed above will also be incorporated into the currency reports module on Streamline Online, along with some additional service improvements. One of these improvements is the ability to search for transactions by processed date.

The new version of the Streamline user guide can be downloaded as a PDF file.
