We are pleased to let you know that our SaferPayments programme is now up and running. Making sure your customer’s card data is fully protected is a top priority of ours. We’ve designed our SaferPayments programme to give businesses like yours a helping hand through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification process.

Helping you become compliant

Becoming certified as compliant takes as little as 30 minutes and with our SaferPayments programme you’ll receive:

  • Dedicated telephone support – we’ll guide you through the completion of the self certification process
  • Access to a full scan facility in order to facilitate your compliance – minimising any potential data loss
  • Forensic services – should the worst happen and your business suffers an account compromise we will provide a forensic investigation.
  • Automatic enrolment to Worldpay’s non-compliance support programme

The benefits of becoming compliant

By using our SaferPayments programme, you’ll avoid all non-compliance fees and additional PCI DSS charges once you become certified as compliant:

  • Peace of mind – You’re protecting your business and customers
  • Avoiding fines – It protects your customer’s card data and your business against card scheme fines of up to £35,000/€42,000^
  • Prevents additional fees – Save by avoiding the monthly non-compliance fee and additional PCI DSS service fees, when you become certified with us.

When you call

Please make sure you have the following information at hand.

  • Merchant ID – You’ll find this on your Streamline invoice
  • Company name and postcode
  • Email address
  • Card Payment Terminal make and model – You’ll find this on the manufacturers guide or on the under side of the terminal.

In addition, we’ll need to ask you some questions about how you take card payments. This is typically if you take cards in a face to face environment, by mail or telephone order or online. We’ll also need to know if you used any third party providers, such as a payment gateway or payment service provider (PSP) for online payments. As such you may require a network vulnerability scan.

^If you use WorldPay’s Safer Payments programme once certified it also means that should we be fined by the card scheme as a result of a data breach experienced by you, we will waive our right to pass the first £35,000/€42,000 of fines on to you.
